Trani: una mattinata come tutte le altre.
Finche', verso le nove, uno strano macchinario si avvicina alla ciminiera della ex-fabbrica di mattoni "La Pietra".
Non succede niente, quando dal macchinario esce una pinza gigante che raggiunge in pochi secondi la cima della ciminiera.
Una nuvola di polvere e cadono i primi mattoni. I presenti capiscono: la fragile ciminiera della fabbrica "La Pietra" sta per essere completamente abbattuta.
Arrivano i fotografi dei siti di Trani.
Gli studenti della scuola media si affacciano a vedere la fine di quel simbolo di cui la loro infanzia e' stata piena di ricordi.
Neanche un'ora dopo di quell'alta torre non ne resta che la base e qualche mattone.
Chi ha scritto questo articolo e' un semplice cittadino tranese, sdegnato per la noncuranza del comune nei confronti dei patrimoni archeologico-industriali.
